Propleh and three more players from Russia received bans from the ESIC commission
The ESIC esports integrity commission announced severe penalties for four Russian players for using cheats and participating in match-fixing.
Under sanctions fell Egor "zLy" Polyakov, Dmitriy "propleh" Senigov, Aleksandr "Ruler" Maximov and Petr "timeagent" Markheev.
The harshest punishment was given to zLy — he received a lifetime ban for particularly serious violations and his own admission of guilt with a request to be permanently removed from esports. He last played for SEAW in the Asian qualifier for ESL Challenger Melbourne 2024.
The other three — propleh, Ruler and timeagent — received five-year disqualifications each. In this case, particular attention is drawn to propleh, who previously played for Monolit, 1win and NASR, and was also part of Victory Zigzag, which qualified for BLAST Premier Fall Showdown 2023 but was not admitted to the tournament due to various scandals within the team.
This is already the third high-profile ESIC decision in a month: earlier, a four-year ban was given to Dmytro "nifeef" Tediashvili for betting-related schemes, and Maurizio "MAUschine" Weber was permanently suspended after an on-stage assault.
